Located at the tip of Lido Key, South Lido Park offers a variety of breaktaking views of Sarasota Bay, downrtown Sarasota, as well as the Gulf of Mexico
Surrounded by both the Sarasota Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, South Lido Park enables a guest to view both the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in afternoon away from some of the more populated beaches.

The body of water between Lido Key and Siesta Key, called Big Pass, is a great place for fishing from the shore
The changing tides the flow through Big Pass, ensure that the area has a great section of wildlife and shells
An example of the wildlife you can see, if you are lucky you might see dolphins swimming along the shore. The best viewing is at sunrise and sunset.
South Lido Park is also the perfect place for a picnic. The tall pines provide a welcome escape from the afternoon's sun
