North Lido Beach is a great place to find
shells, and fully intact sand dollars are quite
common on the beach or in the shallow
water at low tide. If you are luck you might
even see some dolphins swimming just
beyond the shore.
The white sand of Lido Key Beach on the
shores of the Gulf of Mexico are steps from
the property. Perfect for long walks on the

Watch the beauty of the sunsets over the
turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico
South Lido Park is located on Ben Franklin
Drive at the southern tip of Lido Key. The park
is bordered by four bodies of water; The Gulf
of Mexico, Big Pass, Sarasota Bay, and
Brushy Bayou.
The southern beach portion of the park offers
views of the skyline of downtown Sarasota
and the Gulf. It features a picnic area shaded
by Australian Pines.
At a separate facility at the north end of the
park, visitors can enjoy a nature trail which
includes scenic overlooks and boardwalks.
At North Lido Beach, a 1 ½ block walk from the
property, there is an Olympic size heated pool that
guest may use that overlooks the Gulf of Mexico and
the beach. The pool is open year round and there
are restrooms and concessions also available at the
pool.
