St. Armands one of the most famous siteseeing stops in Sarasota. The Circle was created in the 1920'S, by John Ringling, the founder of the Ringling Brothers Circle. Sarasota was the winter headquaters for the Circus until just a few years ago. There is a clown ring of fame in the center of the Circle.
The Circle is a great place to spend some time when you are not at the Beach. The Circle has over 100 resturants and shops, with something for everyone needs and tastes. Make sure you save room for dessert, there are 5 different ice cream shops to choose from. Above you will see Kilwins next to Tommy Bahama's.
